upcoming projects
Armed with one of these:
http://store.gadgetfactory.net/arcade-megawing/
I'm thinking of creating a retro gaming machine/console and/or synthesizer using Papilio FPGA products.
I suppose it would be a good idea to get started with a well-respected soft processor such as
RISC-V
The basic idea would be to bundle the FPGA-gear, a C-compiler toolchain together with an assembler, and other necessary tools to take a look at porting
ScummVM
over to the platform to be able to run a myriad of good old-school PC games. :)
I would also love to hack a C64 emulator to work with the Retrocade SID-simulation.
I need to brainstorm other [synthesizer] functionality... ;)
